NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS 2016!
Wowwzaaaa. Never have I ever (and no we're not playing the drinking game) done a New Year's resolutions post. Mainly due to the fact that I haven't had this blog for the longest time, but also partly because I do not stick to them. Whatsoever.
No really. I set one at the end of December, all the generic ones of course... lose weight, cut down on the junk food, drink more water, improve my health and happiness, become more confident... and well it never happens.
HOWEVER. I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and list some of my resolutions, which will almost definitely be unaccomplished immediately.
START THE GYM AGAIN!
Yeah soo... I started the gym last year, it lasted a good 2-3 months (haha), but I felt so happy and full of energy, it improved my mental state and well-being tremendously. So I have vowed to start it again, hopefully the one at my uni so during breaks I can get a work out done (praying that there are showers, not really feeling the going to seminars and lectures sweaty betty look).
CUT DOWN ON THE JUNK FOOD!
So when I went to gym (for that brief period of time), I cut down on fatty foods and ate really healthy, I felt Sharpay Evans FABULOUS!
DRINK MORE WATER!
I've always been good at drinking water, but recently I've been slacking. However, I have really cute tumblr cups (is that a thing?) and Frozen sippy cups (I am secretly 3 years old), that motivate me to drink water, so hopefully my water intake increases in the new year!
IMPROVE MY MENTAL HEALTH!
I hope to man up, visit the doctors, and sort myself out. I really want to fight my anxiety, stop feeling depressed, become more confident, surround myself with positive people, and only think positive thoughts. I need to let go of all the negative thoughts and things in my life, it will make me a better person in the long run.
DO YOU HAVE ANY NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS? AND DO YOU EVER STICK TO THEM? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW! XOXO B.

I usually do not make resolutions as I find them pointless and I don't actually stick with them too. But this year I am making them and I am determined to stick with them and achieve some for sure :)

Exactly same as me, but I thought I would try this year hahah! and I hope you achieve all your goals :) xxx
DeleteThese are great New Year's resolutions, I hope you will reach your goals and I wish you a Happy New Year. :) xx I am a fan of making lists so I make resolutions every month and every year - I actually find them quite helpful. There is that one resolution I never manage to stick to, though, and that is cutting down on the junk food ( I just love fries too much haha). Improving your mental health is a really good resolution, I made it mine last year and even though it's tough, it's worth it. ;) x

Thank you!!! :) and I'm so bad at sticking to resolutions also... hopefully 2016 is my year!! xxxx
DeleteI try to avoid new years resolutions, because it quickly becomes a long list of things I hate about myself, and there's so many things I don't know where to start, and just end up doing nothing. I do have a few goals (as I always do), and right now I'm focusing on getting my mental health back on track - I'd like to work out more too, but I need to focus on one thing of the time.
ReplyDeleteI do wish you a fabulous 2016, and good luck with your resolutions!! xx
