6 WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS AND ANXIETY! ft Randomise!

*Includes disclaimer of not being a professional, and these are just some ways that help me feel a little bit calmer or at ease*. Anywho, I'd like to share with you six ways that may help you feel more relaxed, as stress, anxiety and nerves are very common, and thus I'd like to share with you my tips!

I think these are pretty generic and what most people tend to do anyway, although I hope this post is a nice reminder for you, and motivates you to take a break once in a while, have time to yourself, have a pamper, sleep in, have a day off, eat chocolate, take care of yourself!

ADVICE: UNIVERSITY FEARS AND WORRIES!

Today I thought I'd share with you a post about University. Although I am enjoying it now, it wasn't like this at the beginning. Truth be told, my anxiety makes me worried and scared about attending uni sometimes, and I know many people will be in the same boat, be it their already in further education, or waiting to start in the near future. Thus, I thought I would share with you my experience of uni so far, and a few ways to keep the nerves away! And I thought it fitting to include a photo of my friends from uni and I taking a trip out to Starbucks, I never thought in a million years that I would be making friends, it just goes to show that it does get better. Oh and Starbucks always make the perfect Insta photo, wouldn't you agree?

For me, uni was always on the cards. It was always there at the back of my mind. The end of sixth form was coming closer and we were left with the daunting questions of "what do we want to do in the future?". I think schools do put a lot of pressure on people, and there seems to be such a high expectation of people going into further education, but if that's not for you, then don't let that define you. I know plenty of people who went out and found work instead, or went on to find apprenticeships, uni is not the be all and end all, but if you do want to go or are already there, hopefully this post helps in some way.

Do one thing a week that scares you

I thought the Gratitude Challenge was interesting this week, it asks for us to express gratitude to three people, so I didn't really know how I could incorporate this into a post. The week after asks us 'how did we do and feel?' so I wanted to combine these two into one post.

I think letting people know how lucky we are to have them in our life is the best thing to do, it will improve your relationship, and overall make you and that person really happy. I definitely need to start doing this more, I've vowed to make more of an effort with people, and let them know how much I appreciate them.

GET TO KNOW ME!

I don't think you guys really know me, not the real me anyway. It can be easy to lose yourself, especially on social media, so I thought I'd share with you this post all about me (I swear I'm not a narcissist). Here's a TB photo to my year 13 prom, this was such a good night.

I'm incredibly stubborn, and I hate being wrong. Let me have the last word. I'm unsociable and a hermit. What? I love doing nothing. I have a love of TV shows, my favourites are Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Scandal, Pretty Little Liars, Revenge, The Walking Dead, Once Upon A Time, and Gossip Girl. I love reading and writing, they have been my passions ever since I was young. I love books, namely thrillers at the moment (The Girl on the Train, Gone Girl, The Secret Place) but also I love romances/adventure novels too (The Atlas of us, Dear John, The Magisterium series, Zeroes...). My fave films range from thrillers, action, adventure, romances, such as anything Marvel (Iron Man in particular), the James Bond franchise (helloooo Daniel Craig!), Harry Potter, and I have to admit I'm a big kid. I love High School Musical, The Sleepover, I love Disney!

Gratitude. The 52 week challenge!

I was inspired to write this post after reading Rebecca's blog post about the 52 weeks of gratitude challenge. Personally, I find it hard to be happy and positive in life, the cause? My mental health, which you can read all about here in my latest post. This year, however, is the year I want to change and improve my health and wellbeing. To start with I am going to take a step back, appreciate all the things I have in my life, and be truly grateful
