Sunday 16th September 2018 saw my boyfriend and I embark on a wondrous adventure to Lloret De Mar in Costa Brava, and I was not expecting what was to come...

A VERY LATE WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS 2017!

Soooo... I er know it’s nearly March, but I’ve been meaning to do a What I Got for Christmas post since the day itself, but third year of uni has taken over, and I’ve been focusing all my time and effort into being a social media volunteer for a local Oxfam store! It’s been incredibly exciting!

I normally put the long disclaimer here, but hopefully you all know I just like to post these as a means of being able to look back at the lovely things I was gifted over the years. So get ready for a very photo heavy post, I think it’s appropriate here, pictures speak louder than words.

So my boyfriend kindly got me two French Connection underwear sets, one black and one white (hella flattering guys), the most gorg Puma joggers to lounge in whilst using the Movie night set! 

MY SECOND BLOGGER EVENT! KARMA LAUNCH AT LUSH SPA LEEDS!

I was recently invited to my second blogger event, which excited me greatly as it was at one of my fave shops...Lush! As if lil old me got invited...I am literally still so grateful beyond words. I've only ever been to one other blogger event before, and that was at All Bar One in Leeds for a fabulous night which you can read all about here. Lush Spa Leeds you held the best night ever, and it gave me the perf opportunity to take the most colourful photos ever!!

So yeah, my sister and I (took lil Maddy along cos she's a big Lushie, if that's even a thing), and we headed to Leeds, nervous but excited for the night to come...

FEELING FESTIVE WITH BOOHOO!*

I can't even believe I'm writing this post, nor the fact I got the opportunity to work with Boohoo on something?!?!? whaaaat. The lovely Faith contacted me in regards of some very festive and fun Christmas jumpers*, for not only me, but MY DOG!!! Like how could I pass that opportunity up seriously?



If you know me, you know I'm a Christmas and dog fanatic, so combine the two and you're onto a winner. Think me and a gorgeous little fluffy Maltese crossed with a Bichon twinning in matching Christmas jumpers. Nothing beats that.

ANOTHER TRAVEL POST!

Recently I had to travel to Liverpool for a 1 day premium passport, as a week before my holiday I realised my passport had run out...can you imagine the mayhem and tears? I genuinely couldn't believe I had been so slack to not even check my passport, lolz.

On a more positive note, it meant I was able to explore Liverpool for the first time, and see what the city had to offer. And I wasn't disappointed....

SHARING THE LOVE WITH BAKER DAYS!

I was recently contacted by the lovely people at Baker Days, who asked if I would like to review one of their Letterbox gift cakes. How could I turn that down? I love food.

I opted for the Nuts About You cake, as the image of chocolate spread was just too cute to pass up, and the fact that you can personalise it, was a bonus. I can't wait to tell you how it tasted...

LUSH | THE COMFORTER

GUESS WHO'S BACK, BACK BACK, BACK AGAIN. Hi strangers. Recently I've fallen out of love with blogging. I've neglected my hobby, neglected my social media accounts for it, so it's good to finally be back. I'm not sure what happened. I just got so caught up with life, and didn't feel creative, motivated or inspired to produce content. Hopefully writing this post will make me love blogging again. And what better to come back with a Lush post? Nothing beats them.

So I thought I'd review The Comforter bubble bar from Lush. I'd heard so many people rave about this product, that I was extremely excited to try it out. I've put it to the test a couple of times, and thus I will share with you how I got on with it.

HAUL! Lush, NewLook, River Island and more!

I really shouldn't be spending my money. I went shopping to buy presents for my boyfriend's birthday and came back with presents for myself (don't worry I also bought him things too). I found some right beauties in NewLook, River Island, Lush, Boots, Topshop and Primark. Successful shopping trip? I think so! I love a good haul post, so I hope you enjoy!

Also, I really love how this photo came out I think it matches my blog header pretty well, all the colours are so pretty. And by the way, I did learn from my previous mistakes and I did take a main photo of everything I got, but the camera and lighting was not cooperating and they ended up naaaasty, so soz!

LIVIN UP NORTH!

A little late on this post, but nonetheless this is my sixth week of the Gratitude Challenge, and this week I have to discuss the city I live in. Now, I personally live in a really small town, where nothing exciting ever happens. I mean, the most exciting thing to happen is probably a nightclub called the Frontier (don't get me started).

So although I don't live in a city per se, I thought I would mention one I live close to, which is good old Leeds. I feel like Leeds is a treat. I go there to shop at the Trinity and stuff my face in restaurants, namely Nando's, and that's about it. What an exciting life I live.

FAMILY!

Que, a photo of me when I was actually cute, with my mum! My top is really fab, I love that colour. Fashionista at a young age, ay with that half up, half down do, I knew the trend was coming. Also making an appearance is a huge forehead, bushy eyebrows that haven't changed to this day, and a mega grin. Happy holiday times! 

Family. 

A word I have begun to not take for granted. Not so much the word, but the semiology we attribute to it. Love. Friendship. Support. Kindness.
