TAVERTET HAS THE BEST VIEWS I'VE EVER SEEN

In today's post, I thought I'd take you on a journey to the little Spanish town of Tavertet, population 111. If these photos don't make you want to visit the Costa Brava, here's my other 5 must visit places in the beautiful Costa Brava.

I wanted to dedicate a whole blog post to my short time in Tavertet because it's one of my fave places, ever, and I wanted to include a bunch of photos from my camera roll because it has the best views I've ever seen!

Tavertet is a small town situated on cliffs 900m above sea level, with mesmerising views below. Expect terrifyingly beautiful heights and long, twisting roads near cliffe edges to get there.

Looking down on fluffy, white clouds and winding lakes glistening in the sunshine made me feel free. I could stop for a moment, empty my racing thoughts and pour them over the edge. Into the oblivion. Into the unknown.

Silence filled the air around us, and my imagination captured a moment of tranquility, like I was floating on top of the clouds below. Transporting into a new time and space. Finding magic in every footprint laying on untouched paths. Soul-searching and all that. A location perfect for romantics and aspiring writers, looking for inspiration.

Bliss. 
A faraway land, hazy with sunlight,
speechless, unable to write,
unable to conjure up words to describe such beauty, 
magical views, unearthly heights and glistening valleys beneath us. 
Silence,
and silence more. 
Not wings of a bird flapping, 
not even small dogs yapping. 
Picturesque and tranquil, 
leave feeling thankful.
Tavertet you are wondrous, an adventure awaiting, 
untouched paths and journeys yet to be tainted.
