So when I was given the opportunity to test and review Essentials AA skincare Clay Face Mask, I was overjoyed! Truth be told, when it comes to face masks I normally just stick to the 99p ones from Boots, whose with me?
I have never tried this brand before, or even heard of them for that matter, but after using this product I definitely want to try more from their brand! This face mask prices for £7.94 for 100ml which I think is a reasonable price and size! It is a Frankincense and Rose clay mask, so the scent is strong but lovely, you can definitely smell the roses! This is a big plus for me, as I'm a sucker for a good scent.
'The mask contains essentials oils, natural ingredients, vitamins and minerals, so it draws out impurities from blocked pores, leaving your skin feeling radiant, supple and hydrated'. I would definitely agree, upon applying, the mask feels extremely moisturizing, and after using, my face feels smooth and soft to the touch.
I've been using this mask once a week when I am experiencing problematic skin, and I definitely think it's working wonders. A little goes a long way, so I think this pot is going to last me a long time, this brand is affordable and still maintains high-quality products.
I also received a free sample of the Frankincense and Rose cleansing face gel which was exciting! I used this recently, before the mask and was pleasantly surprised. The scent is the same, and because it's a sample, I only used a little of the product (a little goes a long way), it foamed up nicely, and my
skin felt amazing after using it.
P.S. sorry for crap photos, still need to find a good blogging background and some better props haha.
