BEAUTY, FASHION & ACCESSORIES HAUL!

A small break at university. No time for the gym. I hadn't brought my laptop to do work or any books to read. That meant only one thing. It was time for Holly and I to hit the shops. Thus, I share with you today a beauty, fashion and accessories haul!

So as always I forgot to take a photo of everything I picked up, will I ever learn from my mistakes? Probably not. 

Holly and I went to Wilko, where I persuaded her to buy their makeup brushes because a) they're super cheap and b) they're super good. Holly then returned the favour by showing me the Essence makeup range, where it's a) super affordable and b) good quality. I picked up two of the Velvet Matt lipglosses, at first I was sceptical about this, as I never wear lipglosses, and I've never tried a lipgloss that has a matt finish (aka looks like a lipstick). I got the shades 06 Soft Nude which is definitely on the mauve brown Kylie Jenner/MAC Velvet Teddy end of the spectrum. I then picked up the shade 05 Velvet Rose which is a light pink colour. I normally tend to stick to quite bold lip colours, but I'm glad I branched out and picked some different shades up.

My first impressions are that they are quite good quality, taking into account the price (one was £2, the other £2.20). The lip applicator is awful, I mean I applied it, but it is crap, but that's what you get when you're only paying £2. They smell absolutely amazing, they remind me of vanilla milkshakes, it was a delight putting them on my lips, even if I did have to put up with the crappy applicator. They're not insanely pigmented or anything, but I really do love them, they look great and definitely like I am wearing a lipstick! I don't know why, as I still have foundation that I need to use up, but I bought the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation which was around £4.95! I got it in the shade 100 Ivory (I'm hoping it matches my skin colour). 

I ordered this hot chocolate phone case from 'Sighh' after seeing a fellow blogger share a photo of it on Instagram, I instantly fell in love and went online to buy it. There were two different prices depending on the quality, I did get the more expensive one so the case came to £18 which I think is expensive but it's just so damn cute. It took 8 days to arrive sadly, but I was so excited when it did.

Sorry if you get offended by underwear lool but it's too pretty not to share! Primark does the best underwear ever, I always treat myself to pretty pieces in there. My friend thought this looked like an underwear set from VS, it's THAT nice. The back of the bra is gorg, if you don't believe me see for yourself below. Sorry for the bad photo, it was just a photo I took to send in the group chat lol, had to show Shannice and Holly my new set. 

And lastly, I treat myself to some new gym gear from Primark, because alongside the gorgeous underwear sets, they do fab gym clothes!! 

I decided to fold the clothes for this post, as opposed to laying them out, if you want to see them better then follow me on Instagram and I'll deffo be posting those gym selfies or, at least, an outfit post for it. I got these gorgeous grey and pink gym pants, I really wanted the black and grey ones which match that top in the photo, but sadly they didn't have my size. However, these babies were only £9 and they are tight fitting but comfortable, so they're deffo flattering. I didn't realise till I got home that these pants match my sports bra that you may have seen in my last haul post, which if not, you can find here.  The black, grey and white (fave colours atm) top is super comfy and also flattering, I love the straps, it looks good across the back, and it was only £6! I also picked up this plain pink top, as I thought it would match the gym pants, it's comfy and very bright, it was only £4 so I thought why not!
