LUSH | THE COMFORTER

GUESS WHO'S BACK, BACK BACK, BACK AGAIN. Hi strangers. Recently I've fallen out of love with blogging. I've neglected my hobby, neglected my social media accounts for it, so it's good to finally be back. I'm not sure what happened. I just got so caught up with life, and didn't feel creative, motivated or inspired to produce content. Hopefully writing this post will make me love blogging again. And what better to come back with a Lush post? Nothing beats them.

So I thought I'd review The Comforter bubble bar from Lush. I'd heard so many people rave about this product, that I was extremely excited to try it out. I've put it to the test a couple of times, and thus I will share with you how I got on with it.

Firstly, it's a beauty. Just look at it. The colours are so vibrant and eye-catching, if you haven't picked it up yet, how have you resisted that urge? The scent is something else. It smells of blackcurrant, which is so nostalgic of my childhood, it makes me super happy. I think it smells quite similar to Rose Jam, I'm not sure why, as it's more of a fruity scent than rose. It would be great for a morning bath, as the fruity scent would definitely awaken you.

It's so thick it's unreal. Therefore I think it's definitely worth the price of £4.95, as it will last you. You can break it in half and get two baths out of it, but I break it into smaller parts, as I feel like I'm wasting it if I don't get that many baths out of the product. So depending on how many bubbles you want, you can definitely get more than one bath out of it.

The Comforter contains uplifting and cleansing Bergamot Oil, comforting and fruity Cassasis Absolute and calming and toning Cypress Oil.

It makes the bath a beautiful pale pink colour, which I love, and creates a decent amount of bubbles. I'm not the biggest fan of bubbles anyway, so I tend to stick to bath bombs, however this product has made me appreciate the relaxation and calming effect bubbles can make.

Overall, I think this is the perfect bubble bar for someone who likes fruity, bubble baths, whose main purpose isn't to make a wild statement in the water.

Have you ever tried this bubble bar before? If not, do you prefer bath bombs instead? Let me know in the comments below! XOXO B.

  6. I have never tried this bath bomb before but after reading your post I am trying to try it! It looks amazing and I guess the money is worth it if you can use it multiple times. And don't worry about taking a break from blogging, it is impossible to be creative 24/7 and it is perfectly okay to neglect social media for a few days. xx
