MY TANYA BURR MAKEUP COLLECTION!

It's no surprise I'm obsessed with watching Youtube videos, and I think it's amazing that Youtubers can release their own products, so when I found out that Tanya Burr did a while back, I had to grab a few bits and pieces! She has some amazing makeup, so I'd highly recommend them.

I'm going to be showing you two Tanya Burr nail varnishes, the rosy flush cheek palette, perfect brows kit and the hollywood eye palette!

My boyfriend bought me this deep purple nail varnish in 'New York Night' which is the cutest name ever. It was £4.99 which I think is personally a little expensive, but I was so excited by the new packaging that I had to dive right in! The colour looks dark black on the nails, but I still really like a dark colour, especially for the winter! The packaging is cute but the lids keep falling off, so it isn't the best. I also picked up 'Duvet Day' simply because of the name, but also because the colour is beautiful, it's a pale blue/grey colour. They're not the best nail polishes ever, they chip the day after I apply them, I definitely prefer the Barry M polishes, and they're cheaper!

Next up is the rosy flush cheek palette, which I picked over the Peachy Glow palette as I preferred the blush in this one. I think the packaging is cute (I love the colour pink, and the stars and cute curly font add a nice touch!) It was £8!

I think the names of these are so cute, that for me would be the coolest bit about bringing makeup out, naming them! The patterned details on the blush and highlighter (which you can barely see sorry) are really pretty!

The bronzer comes up quite orangey on my face when I contour, so I'm not a huge fan of it! The blush is build-able, sometimes it makes me look like a clown, so I'd definitely recommend using it lightly to get a natural glow. The highlighter is really pretty, but often makes my face look very golden.

Upon choosing an eyeshadow palette from her range, I was instantly drawn to the hollywood eye palette. The packaging is really pretty, I love gold and pink combined, and the name itself just caught my attention. It was £6!

Again, the names are really cute, I especially love the name 'bookworm' as I am just that! The colours are really pretty, they're not immensely pigmented but for just a quick go to makeup look, it's great. I like using nude delight or gold coin all over the lid, and working bookworm into my crease. To add some extra sparkle I use enchantment (really cute name) across the bottom of my eyelid.

Next up we have the perfect brows kit, which is £6.99! This is my favourite Tanya Burr makeup product, and in fact one of my all time fave makeup products, ever! I love how simple it is to use, and it makes creating that perfect arched brow a real ease.

I use a little bit of chestnut and hot cocoa all over my brows, and use fairy cake (amazing name) on my brow bone. I've never used pebble, but I think that would be perfect for blondes or people with lighter brows. The little brush it comes with is actually really good, or maybe it's because I've never used a high end brow brush before, but it gets the job done. My brows always look amazing with this, and look really dark and bold which is what I like, but you can definitely build up the colour.

I really love the Tanya Burr makeup range, I think some of the products are affordable and good quality, but are definitely not the most pigmented, and high quality products ever. I'd recommend this if you're looking to get into makeup, or just to simply support your fave Youtubers!

Let me know in the comments below if you have ever tried out any of these products? If not, what would you like to try out? XOXO B.

  9. This was such an honest and great review to read. I've only got one product from Tanya's range, which is a lip gloss and I'm not the biggest fan of it tbh! I think they're a little expensive for the quality but I'd be willing to try the brow kit based on your review xx
