MY PAMPER ROUTINE!

Who doesn't love a good old pamper?

I try and pamper myself once a week, but sometimes I'm lazy, or forgetful. I LOVE pampering myself the day before a night out or a special occasion, as it makes me feel so much more prepared and excited for the day ahead.

My pamper routine can vary, as it depends on what products I'm using, but this is of current:

FACE:
Garnier Pure Active fruit energy face wash| £4.99
This stuffs amazing. It is very fruity, but I find it to be a really pleasant and refreshing smell, it definitely energises me on a morning. It's on offer at the minute at Boots, for £3.33!

Sanctuary Spa Radiance Exfoliator | £10.50
This is one of my holy grail products, I've had it for ages now, I'm using it sparingly as I love it so much, but find it quite pricey. For this pamper day I used it mixed in with the S&G cleanser which worked surprisingly well and was so much quicker! A little goes a long way, it's lasted me for such a long time, it really is a great product. It removes all my dead skin cells and also 'brightens' my complexion. It can be a little abrasive, but if you're gentle with it then it's totally fine! I normally use with my Sanctuary Spa Fresh Faced Purifying wash, but, unfortunately, I ran out :(

Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean cleanser | £8
I'm unsure how I feel about the smell, sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't...but nonetheless it's a great product! It has a lovely consistency and feels very smooth and gentle on my skin!

Montagne Jeunesse Masque Exfoliant | £1
I love using face masks, I don't always use the same one, I like to mix up what I use. The day of this pamper I didn't have any left, so I used my dads. Yes, it says 'for men' on it, but it's not like it will make a difference. This was a 'ginger' mask, so the smell was strong but I loved it, I loved laying in the bath with my eyes closed with the mask resting on my face. It did sting a little at first, but I suppose that's how you know it's working, as it clears out blemish prone skin. I left it on for around 30 minutes, my face felt smooth afterwards.

Garnier Micellar Water  | £4.99
This is on offer at Boots at the moment for £3.33! I'm late on the bandwagon with this one. I've only just purchased this, but I do really enjoy using it! It's very gentle on the skin, and I absolutely love that you can use it on the eyes and lips, without it stinging or making those sensitive areas irritated. It's so much easier to take off excess eye makeup and lipstick now, woo! I prefer using this over baby-wipes, as it feels a lot more refreshing and doesn't hurt my skin.

Soap and Glory for daily youth moisturizer | £12
The moisturizer is very soft and gentle on my skin, it makes me feel very refreshed and relaxed, I especially love applying this at night, as my skin feels very hydrated and comfortable!

BATH:
Lush bath ballistic, Think Pink | £2.65
I'm going to do a review of this soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that! But what is a pamper night without a little TLC, and by TLC I mean popping a Lush product into a red hot bath, and watching the colour pour out and the smell reach your nose. It made the water pink, and there were little love hearts inside, BONUS!

BODY:

Satin Care Radiant Apricot shave gel | £1-2
I was intrigued by this when I saw it in Primark (ages ago now), as I've always used my dads shaving cream, which does foam up well, but the smell isn't great, and to be quite frank I've wanted to use something a little more girly... So when I saw this I was so excited (such a loser), however, it's really not anything special. You need a lot of product to get it to lather, the only upside is that it smells nice.

Sanctuary Spa Gentle Polish Body Scrub | £5.50
I mix and match my body washes all the time, but this time I opted for this, mainly because I love the brand, but also because it's a multi-use product, and so eliminates some time! It's a wash, but also a scrub, so I'm hooked. It means I don't have to go full out with a body scrub from The Body Shop. It smells really nice and makes my skin super soft! Contradicting my earlier sentence, I used this alongside The Body Shop Mango scrub, which is my fave scent ever....

Garnier Summer Body moisturizing lotion | £7.14
Alas, another one of my holy grail products. I love the Garnier brand, and I love this product, yes I pictured two because I wanted to emphasize how much I loved it, soz not soz. I use this as a body moisturizer, because 1) it smells ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, IT SMELLS OF APRICOTS. B) it's INSANELY good at moisturizing, honestly I feel so soft afterwards, trois) it gives me a gorgeous glowing tan!! and 10) I get it at a cheap discounted price, it's literally always on offer in Tesco's (£2-3). It's a multi-use product which I LUUURVE! I get it in 'deep sun-kissed look' instead of the light one, because for me personally I want a darker, more noticeable tan for when I'm going out (as I wear dresses etc), but if you're looking for a subtle hint of a tan, go for the light one.

HAIR:
Umberto Giannini Shampoo and Conditioner | £5.50
I got this in a set last Christmas from my cousins, so I was intrigued to try it out. I have to say they are pretty amazing, oh and I love the packaging, the colours are SO cute! (it's all about aesthetic and smells with me haha) My hair felt quite soft after using, so I've continued using them whenever I have a special occasion or a night out coming up, and it has been making my hair smooth! The only thing I dislike about them is the applicator, as it pours out instead of being able to squeeze a tiny amount out, so I have accidently gone overboard with it before, and the bottles aren't the largest of sizes.

Umberto Giannini Ultimate Curls Nourishing Oil | £8
I decided to use this as well, seen as though it came in the set, and was pleasantly surprised. I've only just started using hair oils and incorporating them not only when I pamper but at least 1-2 times a week. Recently I've been using the Insta Natural hair mask and hair oil which you can read about here. However, this Umberto one worked well as my hair felt smooth and soft. I liked the bottle and that it had a pump applicator! It had no powerful smell, and when applying I concentrated on the ends of my hair, and only applied a tiny amount through the rest.

Herbal Essences Bee Strong intensive mask | £3.99
I forgot to take a photo of this, so I've just pinched one I used the other day. Like I said, I've recently been using the Insta Natural hair mask, I do tend to mix and match my masks, as I love trying out new products. I picked this one up because I have tried the Bee Strong Shampoo and Conditioner before and it left my hair feeling very smooth, so I was easily tempted by the mask. The smell is absolutely gorgeous, I LOVE it!

HANDS & FEET:
Soap and Glory Heel Genius £5.50 (can't find the smaller size)
I love S&G, I have a few of these mini travel size products, and I think they're great! It makes my feet smooth...not sure what else I can say.

Soap and Glory Hand Food £2.50
Again not sure what else I can say except that it's a good product and makes my hand soft. However, I hate the smell, I'm not sure why it smells that way as my sister has one and hers smells nice, but the packaging is slightly different, so I'm not sure if it was reformulated?

I then file my nails and applied a cuticle balm from Avon, (being honest...I never use products like this, I made an exception though). The balm was greasy, but it was very soft, a little goes a long way.
I then painted my nails black, I can't remember what colour I painted my toes, think it was a nude colour, which I've been loving doing lately.
Next, I used an anti-rub stick, which is very soft when applied and is supposed to stop your shoes from rubbing you, so I had to apply it as I was going out and I'd be wearing heels! Alongside this I used the comforting foot/leg spray, which you probably should use after wearing heels, but I just had to use it, as it's so comforting and refreshing, the smell is amazing.
Oh, before I apply the foot cream I also removed the hard skin (niceeee) with this £4 device from store 21, cheap but works quite well.

Let me know what you do during your pamper regime, I'd love to know! XOXO B.

  5. The obsession that I have with that Lush bath bombs/ballistics is honestly becoming problem haha! I totally agree that their scents makes for the perfect relaxation time and I can't wait to see your review of this one. I've also been using the Curl Friends oil for years now - it's my go to when I need silky hair.

I love hand-me-downs! I feel like you're able to physically put on someone else's story which is such a cool idea. For that reason I also adore thrifting and getting a glimpse at a piece's past life.
