Warner Brothers, Harry Potter Studios!

Last year, I was lucky enough to visit the Harry Potter Studios in London, courtesy of an a-level media trip.
I have always been a huge fan of Harry Potter, I felt like I grew up with him as I was only little when I first watched the films in the cinema. To this day, I vow that Harry Potter is one of my favourite ever franchises, just thinking about it makes me emotional, it is honestly brilliant. I will put my head down and say I have never read the books, which I know some hardcore fans will be tutting at me right now, but have you seen the length of them! [note to self- read the books].

Even though I visited the studios a year ago I still wanted to share my experience with you through the photos I took on the day, and hopefully some of you will be interested to see them. I do so hope it persuades you to visit if you haven't already. Hand on my heart- I had the best time of my life.
I also took home two photos, I definitely recommend the green screen area, it is hilarious. Me and my friends were green-screened into the flying car, and I was green screened onto a broomstick, whilst wearing a Gryffindor gown, it was such an amazing experience, I felt a part of Hogwarts. On the day I visited the owl who plays Hedwig (Harry's owl) was there!

I know many people will question "does visiting the studios take the magic out of Harry Potter?" It is a question I asked myself, upon arrival and thus leaving I came to my conclusion. No. Even though you see the behind the scenes, and you ponder at the green screens and even having a sneaky cry when you come to terms with 'Quidditch' not being a real sport...the magic lasts. Seeing is believing and from seeing the work and making of Harry Potter at the studios has only made me fall more in love with the Harry Potter series, and the studios ensured I had a magical experience, one I shall never forget.

I'm getting very emotional just writing about my experience, and writing out this quote that appeared on the screen to us. 'The stories we love best do live in us forever, so whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home'. J.K. Rowling.

This experience was truly magical, have you visited the studios before? XOXO B.
